We endeavour to create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all at our Studio. Our business values have always been that the health and wellbeing of others and our community is a top priority.
A lot of people may be experiencing anxiety and fear surrounding COVID-19. Please be kind and compassionate in these times and lets all work together ensure that everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
What we are doing to prevent the spread
With the Coronavirus outbreak, we would like to assure you that we are carefully monitoring the situation and following government recommendations and restrictions.
We are hoping to remain open during these troubled times. For now, it will be business 'un-usual', as we have made some changes to our bookings and procedures. All therapies are private, social distancing measures are in place, exceptional hygienic standards are upheld, and we will continue to be diligent in these practices.
We know that our therapies can offer valuable benefits. We want our customers to maintain their wellness routines and, importantly, keep stress levels down during this time.
What you can do - Good hygiene can prevent infection.
We ask that everyone using our facilities practice good hygiene for protective measures and as a regular standard to follow. This includes:
Wear a mask inside. In keeping with government guidelines, wearing a mask is mandatory. You can take it off only once you are at your therapy alone.
Wash your hands often with soap and water - Alcohol-based hand sanitiser is provided at our Studio, we ask you use this before and after sessions.
Ensure you cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Maintain social distance - for the safety of you and our staff, avoid close contact or touch, keeping a distance of at least 1.5 meters.
Do not book into our Studio if there is a risk of you having COVID19 or living in a current lockdown zone.
Privacy Policy
The Wellness Studio adheres to the Privacy Act and all other related legislation. Your privacy will be respected, and the personal information you provide us with will be treated according to this legislation. Your personal information is collected for communication, marketing, and the delivery of our services. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
Studio Policies
Prior to any appointment, please ensure you advise our staff if you have any illness or medical condition that may impact your ability to use our facilities safely.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your current condition and whether you could be adversely affected by any of our therapies, please notify us and consult your GP before commencing.
CANCELLATION AND LATE POLICY - A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if you fail to show up to an appointment, or if less than 24 hours notice was provided when cancelling. For those with a pre-purchased multi-pass or voucher, the session will be deducted. Arriving late may require us to shorten the length of your session, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other customers.
LOST PASS OR VOUCHER - Our vouchers do not have an expiry; however, if you lose your voucher and there is no proof of purchase, it is no longer redeemable.
PREREQUISITE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH - I acknowledge that I have the requisite level of physical and mental health for proper and safe use of the equipment and facilities. I am not under the influence of any drugs/alcohol, either recreational or prescription, which would cause panic, claustrophobia or otherwise interfere with the proper and safe use of the equipment and facilities. I agree that any questions concerning what skills or training is necessary for proper use of the equipment, facility, or the activity itself will be directed to the appropriate staff member. I must disclose any illness or condition that may put me at risk, whereby The Wellness Studio in Geelong has the right to refuse my participation until written medical clearance is provided. I confirm that the information provided regarding my medical history is true and correct. If any aspect of my medical condition has changed since my last visit, I understand that it is my responsibility to advise staff of relevant changes.
RISK FACTORS - I acknowledge that the use of the facilities, equipment, and services provided by The Wellness Studio in Geelong (Floatation, Infrared Sauna, Salt Therapy, Red Light Therapy, Ice Bath & ancillary activities like walking on the wet bathroom floor, showering etc.) involves risks such as the risk of property damage, bodily injury and possible death.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES - I understand all of the policies and procedures disclosed to me concerning the activities, facilities and/or equipment, and recognise that the safe and proper use of the facilities, equipment or participation in the activity is dependent upon careful following of said policies/procedures.
PAY - I agree to pay for any damages to property or indemnities that I, or any minors that I sign for, cause negligently, willfully, or otherwise.
